i doubt you need such a setup. priest also got a board buff, even if its on the weaker side. maybe the new zilliax can help you fill your board?

The condition can be hard to trigger, and priest does not have many other burn cards (only Void Shard, which is lackluster to say the least). Its interaction with the priest weapon also leaves something to be desired. I think it would actually be good if it dealt 3 to minion and 2 to face, that way you could at least kill your own deathrattles to set up Animate Dead. I think these small problems add up to a lackluster card.

I don’t think it is even good enough for wild burn priests, because they like Embrace the Shadow with targeted holy spells, meaning they’re not even running Benedictus, but I don’t really play wild so I could be even more wrong here.

5 damage is a lot. This card might actually be good enough to justify putting more than just the very best undeads in, thus kind of sacrificing Animate Dead for this. I just wish it didn’t have the condition. You’re gonna miss some lethals because you didn’t hit an undead.

Most priest decks will never play this if they can play The Light! It Burns! instead, but I guess Benedictus exists. Even if those decks are good enough to be worth playing, I’m not sure if there is room for this card in them.

This is Drown but very slightly better (except when it is worse). I don’t think it’s good enough.
