Hearthstone: In the Works - New Classic Cards Coming Soon, New Player Experience Improvements!
Blizzard doesn’t say that you get a dragon among those you don’t have yet. So you just get a random one.
You might get a duplicate dragon even if you miss one.

Basic and classic cards are the core of classes identity, you should let them playable for Wild and Standard.

I think they want to give more time to players to shake the meta before nerfing the card. In the past, Bonemare saw the same treatment, it was nerfed only after next expansion release.
If the game evolves in a more mid-range meta, with more decks snowballing, like the old Murloc Pala, then Giggling will become a mediocre choice.

You will run both if thief rogue receive a big boost with the last expansion of this year.
Call of the Void
Of course, I agree. These cards design is not bad : they have been made for new players.
My comment was only about the competitive point of view.
Pilfer
More tools for the robber rogue, and a new spell for Auctioneer.
But it should not be good enough for this deck to see competitive plays.
3/10.
Icicle
Pretty weak now, but may be playable with future sets introducing more synergy with freeze ?
I hope Blizzard won’t follow this path because freeze is an non-fun mechanic, especially for the mage opponent.

Call of the Void
You don’t want to play this kind of “generate a random type of card” unless you can synergise with special features like playing spells or playing cards that don’t begin in your deck.
Since warlock has no such synergy, this card seems totally useless to me.
1/10.
Tome of Intellect
May be useful to finish the mage quest.
Also synergises with Leyline manipulator.
The “best” card among the 4 new cards announced yesterday.
5/10.
State of the meta :
Mossy Horror is mostly played in Even Shaman and Zoolock to pass the Plague. In my opinion, the power level of Druid is more an issue than Quest Rogue. But overall, the meta is good. If you compare to old ones, it is without a doubt the most diverse and balanced meta in HS history.
The bad point : it is mostly the same meta as the previous one, and Doom’s day Project doesn’t bring funny and fresh decks to the competitive scene.
Wild :
Blizzard won’t make it too complicated as you submit. The game should be easy to understand for 2-3 hours-a-week players. 2 modes, standard and wild. One mode with some restriction rules (standard). It is already complicated enough.
New classic cards :
They are meant to be trash and easy to understand, so they are.
+1 for a way to disrupt combo decks in the Classic set. Not necessarily Dirty Rat, but a similar card.
Tournament Mode :
I understand designers point. A tournament mode would not fit the spirit of the tavern that Blizzard has pushed in the past.
Moreover, website like Battlefy have made so many improvments, that it seems unclear to me that people will use a Blizzard tournament mode and not the existing ones.
Especially since Blizzard playoffs are now organized on those kind of apps.
New Welcome :
Cenarius sees some plays in variants of Token Druid. Not sure that he sees less legend plays than Tyrion.
