Shambling Chow
Why is this card good? Dh doesn’t have anything that can take advantage of the self damage that the card will do to you.
Rivendare, Warrider
I wonder if you could shut down the combo by silencing the fourth horseman. Of course, your opponent won’t let you do that probably.
Highlander Renathal Mage - Standard S102
I think Fire Sale would be better to run than mossy horror. You get a tradeable as well as dealing 3 dmg to everything for one less mana than Mossy Horror which doesn’t seem that great. The main reason I would use it over Fire Sale would be if the minions on the board had a bunch of low attack and high health such as after Pride’s Fury was played by an Aggro Druid, but if that has happened then the minions are already over 2 attack anyway with just one extra boardwide buff, making Mossy Horror unuseable anyway.
what about Runed Orb and Venomous Scorpid for resource generation? Both of those seem more useful than a lone Fireball. Otherwise this look fairly optimal.
Totemic Evidence
This card is deceptively bad. The only way I could see it working is if you can get your stonewright into play in time, and the entire totem shaman package feels very disjointed in general. 1/5
The Jailer
It doesn’t say “immune while attacking” so I think that means that no removal or silence effects can stop your board. The hard part is keeping your board sticky for a turn, since you’ll need 10 mana to play your jailer, unless you discount it somehow.
Dew Process
It’s probably better in ramp druid since you can more easily take advantage of the double card draw than your opponent thanks to your higher mana.
Sylvanas, the Accused
This looks great to counter all of the insatiable devourers and things running around, if you can get it into your hand in time, even in uninfused form it’s probably solid.
The Complete Guide to Book of Heroes: Faelin - Challenges, Puzzles, and Achievements!
for challenge 15, there’s a way to avoid part of the puzzle. Simply summon your trench surveyor and then use rocket boots on it to draw waterlogged. You avoid all of the nonsense with the naga giants and can jump straight to the hammering. Though I am confused as to how, after equipping the override drill, your hero can attack a third time, since he doesn’t have mega windfury and has already attacked twice before.
Lady Naz'jar
Definitely agree with previous posters, this is a weak card except the arcane version but even then it has limited use, because you’re giving up 3 mana to play it in a spitelassh chain. And copying it with zola the gorgon seems kind of wasteful too.
slots in all of the mage archetypes.
in big spell, use it with mailbox dancer coins to control the board during the early game. It will at leats act as a soft taunt.
In tempo mage, use it to set up for a deathborne turn or just to keep the board under control.
In hero power mage, mana efficiency is great, and you can weave in more frozen touches to the face too!
