57% WR (Legend) Hadronox Druid Guide
Thanks. I’ve played Wild exclusively since the first set rotation, but this deck got me to play standard. Super fun and highly recommend it.
Asmodai's Witchwood Cube Taunt Druid (April 2018)
I run the list with the highest winrate on hsreplay.
-1 Oakhart
-2 UI
-1 Harrison
-2 Wrath
+1 Branching
+1 Primordial
+2 Tar Creeper
+2 Ferocious Howl
Save a howl for the scenario you mentioned where you ressurect multiple Ironwoods. Can’t believe Asmodai’s list only has 1 branching paths. It’s a fantastic and versatile card, and a great game finisher after a full board spawn.
Odd Face Hunter Deck List Guide - Witchwood - May 2018
Fledgling is pretty weak imo, especially when a deck like this has trouble controlling the board without 2 drops. Forget getting frostbolted, fledgling might not even survive the board. 2nd Unleash is always a great choice for face hunter to replace Fledgling here.
Shudderwock Lockdown Control Shaman (April 2018)
Far Sight actually synergizes with Hemet so that’s kinda cool. Since Far Sight is probably the best card in the game if you draw 3 cost or more 100% of the time. Far Sight isn’t usually good cause you need to run cards under three, but Hemet deletes those.
Has it been confirmed that Kalimos’ battecry triggers on Shudderwock regardless of needing to play an elemental on the previous turn? It seems like that condition still needs to be met.
The Witchwood Card Review Part 10 - Worgen Abomination, Town Crier, Totem Cruncher, Countess Ashmore, Book of Specters, and More!
Yeah I was referring to book of specters in my comment.
Paragon of Light
Fantastic for fending off midrange pally’s biggest weakness, aggro. Imagine you are an aggro player, and your opponent plays this. It poses a huge threat; you either go face and risk the pally buffing it and healing back all that damage, or you trade your board into it. This is key for midrange paladin, which can already fend off control decks with equality combos, vinecleaver, and tarim. In wild, we may see a rise in the beardo, uther, lynessa paladin deck.
Bonfire Elemental
Minion elemental mage looking strong. While before, elemental mage focused on dsicovering/generating cards, making it hard to find the best card in the deck, Frost Lich Jaina. With Book of Specters and now Bonfire Elemental, finding that death knight is going to be much easier.
Even-Cost Hand Mage (Witchwood Theorycraft)
You can’t run Aluneth without burn. This deck has no aggression capability, and Aluneth will just kill you.
Blink Fox
Fledgling? Lol. Fledgling is a joke card. It gets removed.
This card is the 3 drop Swashbuckler/Undercity Huckster, both fantastic cards. Granted, the usefulness goes down as you go up in mana. I wouldn’t play a 4 mana 4/4 get a random card, (epseically cuase Faldorei strider exists as the premier on curve 4 drop) but a 3 drop is early enough to be included in constructed decks.
The Witchwood Card Review Part 10 - Worgen Abomination, Town Crier, Totem Cruncher, Countess Ashmore, Book of Specters, and More!
I can’t believe my eyes. Mech mage is reborn in wild. I didn’t think it could be brought back but it has been. There are already lists woth respectable winrates on hsreolay running Fungalmancer, so mech mage has huge potential.
Blink Fox
Same with Soup and Salads post, those cards are not 3 drops. This is a 3 drop. It does not compete. Agent and edwin must be played with other cards, while fan is often played with prep
Blink Fox
You put a lot of thought into this but I don’t agree. First of all, most of those 3 drops you mentioned are not relevant. In a tempo rogue, the good ones are the agent, edwin, and fan. Fan is often played with prep, and the agent and edwin are boh combo cards, not real 3 drops. This fox is an actual solid 3 drop to play on curve, and its a great one. Early minions are strong in rogue, and there is no reason why this shouldn’t see play.
Ok now that you aren’t working for Blizzard reveal to us the next 3 expansions
