Descent of Dragons Balance Changes - Shaman Nerfs Coming Next Week!
figures
been playing shaman since shudderwock came out, hes just fun to build around
even when he was among the worst classes
finally gets top teared and gets nerfed
Galakrond, the Tempest
pretty much
getting the rushes to gain control of the fields and then shudder next turn
pretty much your finishing move at that point
Tavern Brawl - Heart of the Sunwell
everyone has 1 type they hate
i hate the ones that give random effects that players have no control over as i tend to have very poor luck with those
Hoard Pillager
im thinking theirs some kinda crazy handbuff in wild with this and velknar(paladins hammer weapon)
just have to figure it out
Galakrond, the Tempest
i see 2 possibilties for this to work
either the overload package their pushing to have high attack rushers
or a quest varient that never actually plays the card but ussues double battlecrys to invoke often
Squallhunter
honestly this is better that the legendary dragon we got for shaman
combine this with lightning storm and you have an improved flamestrike, keep a strong body on field
overload 2 at 8 mana ussually not a big deal
Evasive Wyrm
im going to compare it to siamat since most people take the rush/div shield combo
clearly not as good but also not a legendary
dragon instead of elemental
the main advantage i see is the cannot be targeted aspect as in my experience thats how siamat usually gets taken out
the low hp only thing that holds it back
if it was a 5/5 it would be amazing
Storm's Wrath
personally i hate aggro shaman(murlocs especially)
control shaman is my main style.
guess they decided they needed to support the legendary from last expansion, looking pretty nasty
Grizzled Wizard
for wild
could use this
play a minnion that makes your hp become summon a 1/1 murloc or use sir fingleton to replace an opponets hp ruining their game play
Living Dragonbreath
depends how its programmed
if it only prevents being frozen that doesnt work
if it will remove active freeze it will
Platebreaker
ok that requires you to play a specific deck type which you may hate when you can just throw in a tech card?
most decks have a few cards that can be changed around without hurting the overall deck
Cobalt Spellkin
i dont think they will actually
you cant discover them unless the card specifically says to and using hagatha since her release has never given me a quest card
side quests who knows
Platebreaker
to me it feels like a card targeted at wild and the 2500 armor druid build.
in standard not that strong
Platebreaker
goodbye 2500 druid in wild though
this was a custom card a few months back
im honestly surprised they made it can be pretty weak or incredibly powerful
with stats that are almost good it will be added as a filler for some decks
Frizz Kindleroost
its weaker than keleseth no doubt about that, just a similar kinda effect in how it works by being stronger when played on curve
Frizz Kindleroost
while im not debating it will be a strong card and a must play in most dragon decks, i dont think its gonna be as powerful as some people think, similar to prince keleseth if not drawn early enough it losses a lot of power.
combo decks are going to win or lose just based on getting this in hand before their malygos.
id be happy if thats all that was nerfed, i dont use it in my wild highlander deck
only the shaman galakrond and the double invoker
and 1 copy of the 4/5 taunt invoke
