Uldum Inn-vitational will take place this Monday, just a mere day before the expansion’s launch. Which might just make it even more fun, given that no one knows which decks are strong yet (yes, we had some theorycrafting streams, but streamers were still far from figuring stuff out).
Tournament also has an interesting twist. Invitees are divided into two teams – League of E.V.I.L. and League of Explorers. The handicap of each team is that they can only play classes that “belong” there (with an exception of Warlock, to make things even). So players who play the bad guys (and gals) will be able to use Priest, Rogue, Shaman and Warlock, while the other team can run Druid, Hunter, Mage and Paladin. One thing is sure – there will be no mirror matches!
The event starts on Monday (August 5) at 9 AM PDT. You can watch the whole event live on official PlayHearthstone Twitch Channel, but it will also be streamed on the individual channels of participants (if you want to watch the whole thing from their perspective).

Champions have been chosen! The League of E.V.I.L. and the League of Explorers have gathered content creators and esports competitors from around the world in a head-to-head battle for the sake of Uldum, the world… and to earn some pretty sweet prizes. You won’t want to miss it!
How it Works:
- League of E.V.I.L. vs. League of Explorers
- Individual players will represent the E.V.I.L. and Explorers classes, which they will use for the entirety of the event
- League of E.V.I.L.: Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warrior
- League of Explorers: Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin
- This will be a 3-round event, with each round comprised of best of 3 matches. Teams will earn points for match wins.
- Each round will begin with a new set of matchups of E.V.I.L. and Explorers players competing to win their best-of-three matches.
