Time sure flies by, I feel like Scholomance Academy was just released, while it’s been over 3 months. This is our last deck list compilation before the new expansion. Next weekend, a whole set will already be revealed, so we’ll be focusing on theorycraftings instead. Still, since it releases on 17th, I imagine that many of you want to find some interesting decks to do dailies with until then.
Meta is… pretty much the same? Pure & Libram Paladin (it’s mostly Pure in lower ranks/MMR and Libram in higher), Soul Demon Hunter, Face & Highlander Hunter, Bomb Warrior, Control Priest, a few variations of Rogue… well, and Tempo Mage – it still exists after the nerfs, although it’s not nearly as popular. The only bigger change in the meta recently was the rise of Galakrond’s Rogue popularity – I believe it’s the most common Rogue build now, while it was nowhere to be seen a few weeks ago. Still, if you’ve played the game recently, you know the current meta very well. As much as I enjoyed Scholomance Academy, I feel like the meta was too stale. Some builds like Pure Paladin or Soul Demon Hunter became popular early in the expansion and pretty much stayed the same for 3 months (I mean, there were SOME changes / tech choices, but nothing major). That’s why I’m happy with the decision to move the release ~3 weeks earlier – playing those same decks for another month would be really tiring.
Anyway, enjoy the last week (or 9 days to be more precise) of Scholomance, and I hope that Darkmoon Faire’s meta will be fun!
