Another week has passed without any major meta changes. The meta has been stable for a while and even big balance patches aren’t exciting. If one deck gets targeted (such as Guardian Druid recently), the overall balance doesn’t change THAT much – other previously T1 and T2 decks are generally still strong. Right now Tempo (Small Spell) Mage is one of the most popular builds, but Paladins & Hunters are dominating win rate charts. We have 5-6 different high tier builds that you mostly face on the ladder. This will definitely change when a balance update launches next Thursday – with Evocation & Solarian Prime nerfs (read more about them here) the deck’s popularity & win rate will most likely drop down.
But what’s more exciting are the announcements coming next week. We should learn more about new expansion, new game mode, as well as updated progression system (rewards, maybe achievements). That will surely be exciting. And while I’m pretty sure that there’s still a lot of time left until next expansion drops (after all it usually gets released early December), we hope that the new game mode will be available soon after the announcement. We still have no clue what it might be, but anything that diversifies the game is very welcome. Even if you can’t watch the reveal live, don’t worry, we’ll post about everything on our site & social media.
As for the Wild meta, I honestly still don’t know that much about it, but I’ll try to catch up as soon as I can. One thing I know, though, is that without any bigger updates (like a new expansion or balance update targeting specifically strong Wild cards), the meta tends to remain stable. We’re still getting used to posting Wild decks, getting to know popular Wild players / streamers etc.
Below, you will find a full list of the Legend decks from last week, sorted by the highest placement.
