Big Hearthstone announcements are on the way. We now know that the next expansion is going to be revealed in just a couple of days (on Tuesday, March 15) – we should learn its name, theme, new mechanics and see the first few cards. Iksar says that it might become “fan favorite”, which makes me pretty excited for it. He also said that they will try to reduce the number of uninteracive strategies, OTKs etc. over the year. I’m not sure if it will all happen with the release of the new set, probably not, but I do hope that the game will see better days than Year of the Gryphon (being perfectly honest, I don’t mind it as much as many of you, but I can definitely see that the overall reception of the game has dropped a lot ever since Questlines from Stormwind).
Post-mini-set experimentation is mostly over and the meta is getting stale. Patch 22.4.3 didn’t change much, as the adjustments were pretty minor. We all know what decks are most popular at this point so there’s no point talking about it. Instead I’ll focus on some cool experimentations – last week, some players tried to make Lady Prestor work. The most popular attempt was done by Germanshep in Druid, then followed by many other players (like Clark or Kibler). The deck is much weaker than other Druid variants, but it’s honestly really fun to play. Another player – Funkimonki – tried to include Prestor in Aggro DH and it actually works pretty well there. Of course, Aggro DH is not a great deck with or without her, but I think there’s some potential there. Getting some 1-2 mana Alexstrasza the Life-Binders or Raid Boss Onyxias can swing the game around in an instant, not to mention getting a cheap Kazakusan that makes you change your game plan completely. It’s fun, you should try it!
Anyway, we’re waiting for all the announcements now. The next few weeks are going to be busy, but in a good way!

Or, If you’re one that got bored with Standard, just go to Wild and have a taste of Aggro Beast Druid with additional strong Wild Druid cards. Pretty low cost budget with cards like Mark of Lotus, Mark of Yshaarj, & Nerubian Weblord.
Honestly, Standard has grown stale.
What’s more, the last 2 achievements hasn’t even been patched yet, so with some math, if next expansion arriving at 5th April, that’s 20 more days left, (minus 7 days for patch 23), we can all say goodbye to those achievements altogether.
Wild is much much worse then standard, plenty of quest warrior, quest warrior and shaman, delete this tree class with massive nerf from wild and then we can talking
*quest hunter
I just climbed in wild from bronze 10 to legend rank 1200 in 5-6 days with beast druid. Most matchups are quest hunter and quest warrior (as you said), but they are literally free wins. Im playing standard for the most, and never reached legend in wild before, but it was such an easy climb.
I reached in standard legend with beast druid, and the variety of deck were more wide (of course majority are ramp druid) then the duo quest hunter/warrior of wild (sometimes quest rogue and shudder shaman).
And of course you can win but my point is that i’m bored face the same deck again and again.
Fair enough, and yeah its boring facing the same every match, but that’s the cycle of the game sadly.
