Last week has been pretty quiet overall. We had a new balance update – 22.4.3 – but it was mostly for Battlegrounds. In Constructed, Kazakusan got nerfed slightly (LOCUSTS treasure got removed from the pool) and SI:7 Smuggler got “fixed”, but that fix was also technically a nerf. Those two didn’t really matter all that much. Questline Rogue’s popularity and win rate has dropped a bit, but the deck is still good. Kazakusan decks were almost unaffected, losing one good treasure didn’t change the overall gameplan and power level of the card. I’m glad that it’s gone because it was by far the most annoying treasure to face, but Embers are still going to kill you, Horn and Boom Bots are still going to create wide boards, and so on.
The upcoming weeks should probably be more interesting. A new expansion, next Standard year, and Core Set 2022 announcements are all going to be a really big deal. Once it all starts (next week? the week after?) we’re going to be flooded with news, then the reveal season, and then the actual launch. I’m very excited for it – I’ve been hearing a negative sentiment ever since Stormwind launched, a lot of people hate the meta, and I think that a big refresh like a Standard rotation might help a lot. I also wonder where the game will be taken in the long term with Ben Lee, Hearthstone Game Director, moving to a different project at Blizzard. But the impact of that won’t likely be known until 2023, because I’m sure that most of the things for this year are already set in stone.
Anyway, I’m quite busy right now covering the most important cards that each class is going to lose in the rotation, I’ll try to wrap it up before the news floodgates are open, but it might be difficult. Covering all the upcoming announcements is going to take a lot of work, but I’m really excited!
Below, you will find a full list of the Legend decks from last week, sorted by the highest placement.

For some reason, Amazon Cloudfront blocked my access, and I had to use VPN to bypass it, which sometimes can be annoying. Probably going to reply less often if this continue.
Anyway, I guess this will be the 1st time the miniset not gonna be available after expansion launches, which is gonna be at 5th April I assume because the miniset sale is ended at 4th. I don’t really know what happen, but from marketing side, this is pretty bad idea, and they could’ve got some more profit down the road.
I just hope they announcing the next Standard this week.
I just learned that our company has blocked access to all of our websites (not just HDTD) from the following countries:
China, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Turkey, India, and Serbia
I will quote our CM Sas148 on that matter because he explained it better than I could:
This decision is ultimately due to legal compliance and liability issues with respect to these countries and their laws/regulations. This action was not based on any specific law or regulation in any one or more of the listed countries. Our decision was due to the legal costs involved with reviewing the laws and regulations of the listed countries, in contrast with the amount of visitors/revenue earned from them. As a result of this analysis, we decided not to pursue a legal review and to mitigate our liability in these countries, we opted to block access entirely. This is an indefinite decision.
I’m really sorry about that, it’s not my decision and I can’t do anything about that 🙁
Okay, I want my refunds. :p
In the end, not pursuing any legal actions probably the best move.
I think I just have to set another VPN browser just because of unplanned restrictions like this, who knows what other sites get blocked because of some country silly terms. Yep. got to plan ahead.
Lucky Windscribe got a free 10GB of VPN access every month.
Oh, and uh… I still want refunds. LMAO.
