I have skipped last week, because I didn’t have almost any relevant decks – a balance update released on Thursday and I only managed to gather a handful of new builds by Sunday. To be completely fair, this week I don’t have that many LADDER decks either – but that’s because a lot of the pro players are running Heroic Brawliseums. That’s why I’ve decided to add those 12 wins Heroic Brawliseums builds, since they are mostly your successful Standard decks (it’s a bit like hitting between 12-0 and 12-2 with them on ladder).
As for the last balance update, it only contained 3 nerfs, but also a grand total of 17 buffs. Yeah, that’s a lot of cards that got changed. The nerfs were very impactful – especially Drek’thar’s nerf (from summoning 2 to 1 minion, so the card makes no sense unless you REALLY don’t want to play any 4+ mana minions, then I guess that 4 mana 4/4 that summons a random minion from your deck is still okay, but only okay). The buffs were also quite interesting and while most of them didn’t matter that much, others brought new decks into the spotlight (like Naga Priest thanks to Serpent Wig buff). It was a pretty solid patch overall, and right now ladder is in a decent spot.
And now, out of nowhere, Blizzard has announced a new mini-set. We’re actually in the middle of a short “reveal season” and it’s going to release next week, on Wednesday (June 1). Just like with every other mini-set, I expect a decent meta change – after all, 35 new cards is quite a big deal. We’ll see how it all worked out a week from now, when I gather new mini-set decks (I should have enough material after just a few days for a bigger release like mini-set).
Below, you will find a full list of the Legend decks from last week, sorted by the highest placement.

Control Paladin got me to Legend for only the third time taking advantage of all the aggro/tempo decks. Beast Hunter got me to rank 1 but then went all the way back to rank 5.
Almost hitting a certain rank and then going on a losing streak is the worst. I had a similar situation with Top 100 last season. Got to like #105, most likely one win away from Top 100, and then fell down all the way to 800. Feels really bad.
