Good news, everyone! While it’s true that the current meta is already stale and we don’t see almost any innovation, a new major event was announced. Just like the buff patch in last expansion, Blizzard is continuing to experiment. This time they’ve decided to bring back many Wild cards back to Standard for a limited time – 23 of them in total! So far the only two announced are Ragnaros the Firelord and N'Zoth, The Corruptor, but just those two alone would be enough to shake up the meta – and there’s still 21 more! You can read about it here. We’ll learn the full list of cards next week, so stay tuned. We’ll prepare a bunch of theorycrafts that include Wild cards and then post the best Standard/Wild decks around.
Given that the full announcement will come next Friday (4th), the patch will most likely drop the week after – e.g. Monday (7th) or Tuesday (8th). So for those ~10 more days all we can do is recommend a bunch of old decks.
