After bringing back some of the older card backs, it looks like it’s time for Hero skins now.
Thunder King (Lei Shen) Shaman Hero skin is now available in the shop. Originally, you could get it as a part of “Masters Bundle” back in June 2019. You could get 20 Packs + Hero Skin + Card Back for $19.99. Half of that revenue was then forwarded towards 2019 Hearthstone Masters Tour tournaments.
Right now you can get it by itself, for 1500 Gold or $9.99 / €9.99 through in-game store or Battle.net shop. It’s available until March 8.
What do you think about bringing back old Hero skins? Will you buy it?
I just hope they bring back Sylvanas portrait, she’s one of the few skins I’d actually buy with real money (paying with gold is out of the question since I’m f2p and always saving for packs)
I’m glad they’re going with this thing.
Good move utilizing this for marketing purpose, instead of you know, ripping off players.
Not complaining, because from F2P side, I agree that gaming industry should really make the game itself cheaper, while at the same time get profit from selling cosmetics or other trinkets.
Kudos to them.
I believe this is so great. I’ll buy this and hope Blizzard return Maiev, Elise and Sylvanas or Alleria
Already bought this with gold! I am a free to play player. Got mage from the rewards track and will get Demon Hunter next time. Hoping for a Warrior or Hunter portait in the shop soon in future. Is this the first time a hero portrait is available for gold?
@Stonekeep, FYI: Gladiator Valeera skin can be seen now from the heroes section.
Yeah, im on kinda the same boat. Im missing mage, demon hunter and hunter.
