Any Class
Druid
- Mill Minion Decks: Naturalize + Branching Paths
Not the best win rate, but a ton of fun when it works.
Unstable evolution + Healing rain
Fire plume harbringer + kalimos primal lord
Professor Putricide + any secret
Blood knight + any 1cost divine shield
Primalfin totem + bloodlust
The last kaleidosaur + Sound the bells
Shadow Ascendant + power word shield
Wild growth + the lich king
Awaken the makers + crystalline oracle
I won 9 straight before my first loss just now with Paladin. Lost in The Jungle & Crystal Lion ?
Idk what just happened but i face a wild mechwarper hunter in this brawl
ty blizz
8-0 with Warlock: Soulfire + Clutchmother
I lost the first time I used that … though, to be fair, that was mostly because the shopping was being delivered and I had to baby-sit the dog so he wouldn’t attempt to eat the groceries and/or delivery driver 🙂
Dogs are bad for your HS win-rate.
Righteous Protector + Sound The Bells is working pretty great for me so far.
Priest with Wild Pyromancer and Power Word: Shield is a great control strategy
A deck I had fun with was witches apprentice and unstable evolution
Northshire Cleric + Shadow Ascendant
Guys oaken summons and Iroonwood golem works nice againist minion decks
Wild growth + lich king.
Frothing Berserker (or any other hurt-to-power-up card, this one just does it indefinitely) + Sudden Genesis for Warrior.
Your Berserkers power up every time they attack or they are attacked, and Genesis doubles all the powered up ones. Unless your opponent has a deck focused on freezing, you win by turn 7 or 8.
Squashling + Mind Games lets you mess up any heavy-summon based deck by using its own heavies early, and the echo of Squashling lets you stay alive long enough to make use of it.
Bring It On and Brawl
I found that if you dont have branching paths for mill druid ferocious howl and naturalise are very powerful.
I won easily with Alarmobot and LichKing
Hunter with stonetusk boar & dire frenzy
I used Glacial Shard and Mind Blast, it worked pretty well.
Warlock-soulfire and clutchmother. Over about 30 games I won about 25
I used Voidwalker and Demonfire and went like 10-2 so far.
Played 3 games with this combo, lost all 3. Two against Warlocks playing the Murloc Tidecaller+Rockpool Hunter combo and one against a Warlock playing Acidic Swamp Ooze+Hellfire combo. To be fair, that last one was mutual defeat – I got the Warlock down to 2 health and I was at 3 when the Warlock played Hellfire to end the game.
Healing rain is OP.
I used bloodmage thalnos and moon fire with the druid. It work perfectly.
Agree. One use, one win.
Just played against a deck containing Twig of the World Tree and Starfire. Fascinating idea if a little reliant on the luck of the draw.
Copy your opponent with Chameleos and Mind Vision.
Not the strongest of 2-card decks, but it’s fun and gives you the edge of knowing what you’re up against early.
Wax elemental + earthen might should block most minion-based strategies.
warrior: town crier+rabid wargen
is a ”meta” call, u win agaist all the aggro decks and can outvalue them
preparation with vancleef was funny too
Why not use counterfeit coin instead of prep?
oh wait, shit its not in standard anymore whoops
Feral Gibberer + innervate was so funny
Thalnos + Moonfire are good, cuz against mage you can 2x Thalnos + kill his mana wyrms with moonfires and against control you can do a lot of dmg in one turn (3x thalnos + 7x moonfires on turn six 28)
I’m digging my Black Cat + Arcane Missiles. Rawr.
meow
Divine Hymn/Duskbreaker is a great counter to minion aggro combos. Low-cost buff decks could be a problem for it, though. Still, works great against mages with Mana Wyrms.
I was seeing a ton of mage so I went duskbreaker cobalt scalebane and dominated
Duskbreaker + The Darkness
Haven’t lost yet 12 – 0 so far 🙂
Seconded, I played against this and it was brutal
Funny, cause as I looked up The Darkness it says it’s “uncollectible”.
So how is that possible?
lose so hard against mill druid
soulfire and clutchmother got me plenty of consecutive wins
Radiant elemental and power word: shield has been hilarious
Black Cat + Arcane Missles
Feral gibberer & knife thrower is fun, but loses to mage, usually.
Hunter: Leper Gnome + Play Dead
Nice! Tried it, too slow though..
Lost in the Jungle + Lightfused Stegadon has been pretty good.
Hallucination+eviscerate
Why limit yourself to 2 cards?
Naturalize + Ferocious Howl.
Just did Eviscerate and sinister strike…
Mill Druid: Naturalize + Forest Guide
Usually the Murloc Combos tear apart pretty much everything.. Gotta test Glinda and Snoflip Pingu tho.
Genn Greymane + Flametongue Totem worked for me
Shaman: Glacial Shard + Earthen Might.
They can’t attack, you buff your minions and get random elementals. Great combo. Easy win.
Soulfire+Clutchmother Zavas
When asia hct decks will be published?
Shaman: Firefly + Earthen Might
mind blast and holy smite
Yes! Finally a cool Tavernbrawl again 😀
Acidic Swamp Ooze and Hellfire, it’s the perfect combo!
Hey, beats Upgrade and Shield Block.
Is that what they had last time?
Found success with Nourish and Arcane Tyrant. Drawing 3 cards and playing 3+ free 4/4’s on turn 5 (or 4 with coin).
The problem is that if you don’t do anything for the first 4 turns, you’re probably dead against most of the decks.
Yeah, that happened to me as well. I ended up facing some less-agro decks and it worked better against that
