General Information
- Earn a Classic card pack for your first win in this Brawl.
- It’s the third time we see a Burndown Brawl, but each time they come under a different name and feature a different variety of decks. Last time we’ve seen it on March 4, 2020.
- This is a PvP Brawl.
- Brawl’s format is Standard.
- It’s a premade/random decks Brawl. Just pick a class and play!
- The idea behind Brawl is that you play your “random” deck until you lose (the deck’s aren’t fully random – e.g. they try to follow a certain theme and feature synergies). If you lose – you take your opponent’s deck. This means that naturally, over time, weaker decks will get out of the Brawl (other than new people queuing) and the only the strongest ones will remain. What the best decks will look like after a few days?
- Unlike in the previous Burndown Brawls, this time Heroes also come with custom / more powerful Hero Powers and players start with a random Treasure card (from solo adventures).
I was a Hunter, the 0 mana HP crazy one and I beat down a Demon Hunter. He evolved and then I died immediately. So I thought it was a deck out there to stop decks from becoming powerful. Figured I’d play a round, win, and then get a new deck. But then when a Druid beat me, I evolved and immediately died. Does anyone know what’s going on with that?
The brawl was fun this afternoon. Now it’s done: everyone has the BURN! 356 mage deck. Going first is a loss. Coin is a win.
Today i almost only see Druids with the fireball thing, and Hunters with +2/+2 to all minions everywhere. the match is pretty much resolved depending if the hunter draws the lifesteal minion or not.
Yesterday i liked a mage deck that was named Burn something, and its HP was 2mana summon a minion that replicates your spells, and the treasure was spells cost health instead of mana.
Some highlights:
1) Winning on T2: HP (summons the minion that replicate spells) > cast Molten reflection (the minion cast it too, so end up with 3 minions) > Cast Pyroblast > win
2) Casting Puzzle Box with 2 copying elementals in place on T5 > Pure chaos for about 5 minutes, 10 empty mana crystals, about 20 dmg to enemy, about 15 dmg to self, some armor, all hand cards discarded but 3 spells for excess mana, board cleared but new minions on board, they died too, about 5-6 new minions passed through the board, none left in the end. a weapon in hand, many cards drawed and lost in the process. Very fun to watch.
free fireball hero power is broken
Is better than fireball…
Hunter’s “Aggression 122” or Druid’s “Choices, choices + Swarm 57” are superior. Mirrors are braindead, facing each other depend on Hunter drawing the 1/3 lifesteal rush. (If Druid aviods playing minions for first 4 turns, gives them huge advantage)
Agression 61. Nuff said.
I spoke too soon. Swarm 216 set up lethal turn 1.
Big Beasts 18 has Gronnic Strength (+1 +1 to all minions wherever they are) and Dr Boom’s Remote (summon three Boombots) and whew
Sounds really strong! But I’ve read about a Druid deck with 3 damage or 3 healing Hero Power with a passive that makes it cost 0 and lets you play it twice a turn. Yikes. 6 damage or 6 healing every turn. Free Fireball every turn from Turn 1 😀
Just faced it, Beasts and Buffs 1, RIP to 10 wins in a row with Big Beasts 18.
