Blizzard missed an opportunity to create some deathknight decks for a brawl the day before their new expansion. Could’ve convinced some more people to buy packs and generate excitement for their new expac. Maybe I was just hoping to get to try some new cards out early, but I thought for sure this tavern brawl would’ve been more related to the Knights of the Frozen Throne cards
They normally do that quite far into the expansion, like ungoro and Gadgetzan. So expect to see place-holder brawls like this before expansions. Shame it has to be that way.

Question I don’t fully understand this one why us when my opponent plays the shifter it transforms right on the board the turn he plays it then when I try the same thing nothing happens.? Any chance you could explain why this happens
It’s just the animation, you see the Shifter first then it becomes creature that was in their hand. If you draw a Shifter it stays in its 1/1 form until the beginning of your next turn.
