General Information
- You get one Standard card pack for winning your first game in this week’s Brawl.
- Technically it’s a new Brawl. However, we’re seeing the same type of Brawl at the start of every expansion, just with updated recipes.
- Brawl’s format is Wild even though recipes are Standard – you can generate, discover, summon etc. cards from older expansions. (Note: That’s how it worked in previous Recipe Brawls, we haven’t tested this one yet.)
- It’s a PvP Brawl.
- It’s a premade decks Brawl – just pick a class and play!
- Decks are literally deck recipes – you can check out all of them in-game by creating a deck from a given class and selecting one of the recipes.
- The Brawl is mostly meant for players with a smaller collection to playtest new deck archetypes.
these are the strategies of the deck recipes:
DH: megatherion + illidari inquisitor
DK: hand buff undead
DR: spell damage
HU: big beasts
MA: spells only
PA: aggro token
PR: zarimi dragons + aman thul copies
RO: pirates aggro
SH: chaos tendrils
WL: big demons
WA: taunt buffs
The paladin deck seems to be the strongest.
Managing the otk kill with druid was quite difficult.
With taunt warrior i also needed some attempts to get a win.
The demon hunter deck has expensive cards and a lot of card draw, so be careful with hand space.
they all suck except for Paladin and Hunter but Mage can definitely bullshit a win with Keyboard, +Manufacturing Error to draw a discounted Yogg spell
I managed to win with Demon Hunter against Paladin by copying his injured Titan 4 Times with the 2 Locations i had, but yes, most decks did not work.
You named Paladin and Hunter, and I think the Death Knight deck also does what it is supposed to: buffing undeads in hand to double digits and preying on the anemic decks most other classes have
