Update: Patch notes just came out. Sylvanas will be available in game shop for $9.99 and will come with unique card back!
As you may know, some streamers have already got early access to Descent of Dragons expansion. Rdu was looking through the in-game portraits on a new client version, and he stumbled upon a new Sylvanas Windrunner Hunter Hero portrait.
She’ll probably be available after a client update. Remember that old Hero Portraits (Alleria, Magni and Medivh) are disappearing from the store soon – maybe she’ll be replacing them? Or is it some kind of cross-promotion with WoW (Sylvanas plays a big role in the current MMO’s plot)?
Who knows! But one thing is sure – the new Hunter Hero looks absolutely stick!

Where is the source that states old hero portraits are going away?
It’s somewhere on Playhearthstone website. They are at a discount right now. After that periode they will go away.

For example, the Winter bundle comes to mind. The one where we get a new Druid. But to get it, guess what? We have to buy the bundle.
Seriously, one’s think that Blizzard is short of cash, or something. Why can’t we just earn it from a quest?
