Update: Twitch drops are now live!
The Community Day event was announced in the latest major Hearthstone patch notes (26.6), but since the day was full of announcements, I’m sure that some people might have missed it (and others might need a reminder). That’s why I created a separate post.
Today, from 12 PM PT (21:00 CET), for 24 hours, Twitch drops will be active across the whole Hearthstone category. Watch any Hearthstone stream to earn a lot of card pack rewards, 1 for each expansion available in Twist’s New Age format + one final pack from the upcoming set.
The first five hours will provide you with 2 card packs per hour of watch time. Then, the final card will give you a single card pack, but also the most relevant (of the new TITANS expansion). That’s a lot of packs – 11 in total for 6 hours of watch time.
However, the active drops period is relatively short. There are only 24 hours to get them, so if you’re interested, make sure that you tune into some stream as soon as you can. Remember that you don’t have to actively watch a stream – just leaving it active and muted in the background is enough.
I wish the “community day” had some more interesting stuff on top of card packs, but it’s the best Twitch drops event we had… ever? So I’m definitely not complaining about that part.

This weekend, July 1-July 2, we’ll be hosting a special Community Day to celebrate the new Twist Beta and the upcoming launch of TITANS! By participating in Community Day, you can earn 11 free packs within 24 hours! From July 1, 12:00 p.m. (PDT) to July 2, 11:59 a.m. (PDT), earn six drops, each for watching 1 hour of any Hearthstone stream.
