Shop Update: Two New Hero Skin Bundles + Two Wild Bundles

It’s Tuesday, so it’s time for another regular shop update. On top of the usual Hero skin bundles (skin for X class + 5x card pack for that class), we also have two Wild bundles. They probably tie into the Wild Brawliseum coming tomorrow, Blizzard might want you to buy some Wild packs before attempting to play it (but you probably shouldn’t play it at all if you value your gold, to be honest). Sadly, all of those things are only purchasable with Runestones. Here are all the new items:

  • Bold Guardian Liadrin Bundle (1000 Runestones) – New Paladin skin (Tier 2) + 5x Paladin card pack.
  • Wicked Prince Kael’thas Bundle (1000 Runestones) – New Mage skin (Tier 2) + 5x Mage card pack.
  • Wild Bundle (2000 Runestones) – 25x Wild Card Pack + 2x Random Legendary card from any expansion.
  • Golden Wild Bundle (7000 Runestones) – 20x Golden Wild Card Pack – 3x Random Golden Legendary from any expansion.

Reminder: 100 Runestones = $1, so if something costs e.g. 2000 Runestones it means that it costs $20.

I don’t like runestones either, but at the moment it’s just one additional step in between, because you can buy exactly the amount of runestones you need (i.e. I never have any runestones on my account except for the few seconds between buying the runestones with money and buying the bundle with the newly acquired runestones.

Of course there is a greater scheme behind all that, and who knows what blizzard is cooking up behind the stages? only time will tell …

Too bad you can’t buy them with money on battle.net… I had no problem buying skins, but I won’t buy runestones under any circumstance. *shrug*
