Shop Update: The Great Dark Beyond Pre-Purchase, New & Returning Skins, Signature & Diamond Cards, Tavern Tickets

Update: Added 4 returning skins. For some reason they didn’t appear on my main account and I had to relog to my alt to even see them.

Another shop update dropped today! Given that it’s a major patch, and an expansion announcement one at that, it’s a really big update, with the set pre-purchase as well as tons of new and returning stuff. Notably, for the first time ever, individual Signature cards are purchasable for Gold. And they picked some of the best ones (Sif and Ra-den) to lure players into buying them. I mean, 5k Gold is A LOT, but at least we have an option for people who aren’t saving for new packs. Anyway, here are all of the new items that are available this week:

• The Great Dark Beyond Mega Pre-Purchase Bundle (8000 Runestones or $80) – 80 GDB packs + 10 Golden GDB card packs + 1 random Golden Legendary from the expansion + 1 Random Signature Legendary from the expansion + 6 Tavern Tickets + Prophet Velen Priest Cosmetic Hero + Prophet Velen Card Back.
• The Great Dark Beyond Pre-Purchase Bundle (5000 Runestones or $50) – 60 GDB card packs + 2 random Legendary cards from the expansion + Prophet Velen Card Back.
• Bolvar Fordragon Bundle (2500 Runestones or $25) – New Diamond Death Knight skin + 3 Death Knight card packs + 2 Golden Standard card packs.
• Warlord Draka Bundle (1500 Runestones or $15) – New Tier 1 Warrior skin + related card back + 5 Warrior card packs.
• Carnival C’thun Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10) – New Tier 2 Druid skin + 5 Druid card packs.
• Firedancer Kailene Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10) – New Tier 2 Demon Hunter skin + 5 Demon Hunter card packs.
• King Rastakhan Hero Set (1500 Gold or $10) – Returning Tier 1 Shaman skin + related card back. Originally available from the shop in September 2021.
• Prince Charming Anduin (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Priest skin. Originally available from the shop in October 2021.
• Naga Sylvanas (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Hunter skin. Originally available from the Voyage to the Sunken City paid rewards track (Tavern Pass).
• Nightborne Aranna (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Demon Hunter skin. Originally available from the Voyage to the Sunken City paid rewards track (Tavern Pass).
• Annhylde, Deathcaller (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Warrior skin. Originally available from the March of the Lich King paid rewards track (Tavern Pass).
• Signature Prince Renathal Bundle (4000 Runestones or $40) – Signature versions of Prince Renathal + 5 Standard card packs.
• Signature Sif (5000 Gold or $35) – Signature version of Sif.
• Signature Ra-den (5000 Gold or $35) – Signature version of Ra-den.
• Random Signature TITANS Legendary (5000 Gold or $35) – 1 Random Signature Legendary card from TITANS expansion.
• Diamond Shudderwock Bundle (3000 Runestones or $30) – Diamond version of Shudderwock + 5 Wild card pack.
• Tavern Ticket Bundle (2000 Runestones or $20) – 11 Tavern Tickets (you can use them to start a new Arena run).
• Tavern Ticket Mega Bundle (4000 Runestones or $40) – 25 Tavern Tickets (you can use them to start a new Arena run).

Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, unique Hero tray, or some extra visual effects. Some of those might also be included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins! Blizzard has added their own “rarities” for Battlegrounds skins, but they haven’t done it so far for Constructed (other than Diamond & Legendary Heroes).

New items usually stay in the shop for around 1-2 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (3 or more weeks) but I wouldn’t universally count on that, so if you’re interested in one of them, get them soon.
