It’s Tuesday, so it’s time for another shop update! We just had another mid-sized shop update, with new Constructed & Battlegrounds cosmetics. I honestly don’t remember whether the Battlegrounds skins were already offered before, or maybe they’re completely new – but it looks like they’re on a 50% sale compared to the regular “Epic skin” price. At least that’s what Blizzard says. Here are all of the new items that are available:
- Witch Jaina Bundle (1000 Runestones) – New Mage skin (Tier 2) + 5x Mage card pack.
- Mummy Morgl Bundle (1000 Runestones) – New Shaman skin (Tier 2) + 5x Shaman card pack.
- Battlegrounds Emotes – Foodie Fun (300 Runestones) – Six new food-related Battlegrounds emotes at “special 40% holiday off”.
- Battlegrounds Skins (100 Runestones Each) – Four new, food-related Epic Battlegrounds skins – Yogg-Ramen, Pasta the Pirate, Food Pyramad and The Wood-Fired Lord, at “special 50% holiday off”.
Reminder: 100 Runestones = $1, so if something costs e.g. 2000 Runestones it means that it costs $20.
Tier 2 skins usually only include new portrait and new voices for base emotes (sometimes they also include something extra from Tier 1, like a new entrance animation). Tier 1 skins might also add things like new entrance & Hero Power animations, special visual effects, or completely new emotes. It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins!
