Update: There was a mistake with the Signature Dream Defenders Mega Bundle. It should also contain Bitterbloom Knight and Flutterwing Guardian. Players who purchased it will now have access to a separate, free bundle with those two cards.
Another shop update dropped today! Since it’s expansion day, the update is really massive. I honestly think they should tone down those expansion shop updates because they are really overwhelming. Most importantly, there are 5 free packs you can claim, so even if you aren’t interested in any shop offers, you should still go and grab them. Other than that, we have a new Tavern Pass (if you plan to buy it, you better do it early to get the XP boost as quickly as you can since they aren’t retroactive), new and returning Hero skins, Diamond & Signature bundles, card pack bundles, and even a refresh on Tavern Ticket bundles. Overall there’s a lot of buy if you want to spend some money (or Gold for that matter). Card pack bundles are ranked – what I have here are only Rank 1, if you know what’s in Rank 2 and 3, please share in the comments! Anyway, here are all of the new items that are available this week:
- Expansion Free Gift (Free) – 4 Year of the Pegasus card packs + 1 Emerald Dream card pack can be claimed in the shop.

- Golden Into the Emerald Dream Bundle Rank 1 (4000 Runestones or $40) – 1 random Signature Legendary card from Emerald Dream + 12 Golden Emerald Dream card packs. It’s a ranked bundle but I don’t know what rank 2 and 3 look like.

Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, unique Hero tray, or some extra visual effects. Some of those might also be included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins! Blizzard has added their own “rarities” for Battlegrounds skins, but they haven’t done it so far for Constructed (other than Diamond & Legendary Heroes).
New items usually stay in the shop for around 1-2 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (3 or more weeks) but I wouldn’t universally count on that, so if you’re interested in one of them, get them soon.

Also the ranked bundles are the exact same as they were last expansion (just with emerald dream packs instead of GDB).
which to clairify is rank 2 for 40$ 25/25 packs + 2 legendaries // rank 3 = 60$ for 40/40 packs + 4 legendaries.
Rank 2 of gold is 80$ for 1 signature, 1 golden legendary + 25 packs // rank 3 = 100$ for 30 gold packs + 3 signature legends.
the rank 3 bundle would be a pretty good deal if you could purchase it right away, but since the rank 2 bundle is so mediocre, i probably would not bother.
who needs hundreds of card packs if you can complete the collection afterwards with offers like 2 legends for 8 $/€ and the quest chain that gives you epics – both from the previous (!) expansion
Pretty bad that the “Signature Dream Defenders Mega Bundle” has everything except for Flutterwing Gardian and Bitterbloom Knight from the druid pack. Hope this is an oversight that gets corrected later because right now it certainly isnt the “+20% value” v.s. buying the 4 sets individually, given that it forces you to buy the druid signature pack for duplicate cards.
It was actually an oversight – Mega Bundle should contain those too. Players who purchased it can now get them for free. See my update
I agree that it would feel really bad otherwise. If you spend $90 it should just give you everything.
seems to be live now, though my Runestone refund hasn’t come in yet: https://imgur.com/KWUqvVc
Huh. It took them really long, from the Known Issues post it sounded as if the extra bundle was live right away. I thought that the situation was already sorted (I haven’t bought the cosmetics myself so I was a bit out of the loop).
