Another shop update dropped today! It’s a mid-sized update with multiple new and returning skins, as well as a few bundles. I think that Shaman skin in particular might be popular, there was some hype for it before the expansion even launched. The overpriced Signature bundles, on the other hand… I don’t think so. Anyway, here are all of the new items that are available this week:
- Surfheart Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10) – New Tier 2 Shaman skin + 5 Shaman card packs.
- Skatetron Bundle (1000 Runestones or $10) – New Tier 2 Rogue skin + 5 Rogue card packs.
- Marshmallow Maiev (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Death Knight skin. Originally available Ulduar Grand Championship in-game event in October 2023.
- Cherry Blossom Lunara (1000 Gold or $7) – Returning Tier 2 Druid skin. Originally available from the in-game shop bundle in February 2022.
- Diamond King Tide Bundle (6000 Runestones or $60) – Diamond King Tide + 2 random Signature Legendary cards from Perils in Paradise.
- Signature Spells Bundle (3500 Runestones or $35) – 2 Signature copies of Tsunami, Food Fight and Corpsicle.
- Perils in Paradise Signature Bundle (2500 Runestones or $25) – 1 random Signature Legendary card from Perils in Paradise + 7 Perils in Paradise card packs.
- Golden Perils in Paradise Signature Bundle (5000 Runestones or $50) – 2 random Signature Legendary cards from Perils in Paradise + 5 Golden Perils in Paradise card packs.
Tier 1 skins are “premium” ones while Tier 2 are more basic. In general, Tier 1 skins tend to include more extra features like completely new emotes, Hero Power animations, unique Hero tray, or some extra visual effects. Some of those might also be included in Tier 2 skins, but usually only 1 of those special features is present (if any). It’s not an official classification – it’s just something we use to differentiate between more basic and premium skins! Blizzard has added their own “rarities” for Battlegrounds skins, but they haven’t done it so far for Constructed (other than Diamond & Legendary Heroes).
New items usually stay in the shop for around 1-2 weeks – sometimes it’s longer (3 or more weeks) but I wouldn’t universally count on that, so if you’re interested in one of them, get them soon.
Now I’m curious if they intend for this Signature Spell bundle to replace the regular way via in-game events to usually get non-legendary Signature cards from the latest expansion.
Not to mention the atrocious price attached to this one.
Exspecially compared to paid Rewrds Track, which has half the price and gives you much more value.
