Four new bundles were added to the shop as a part of the Winter Veil 2021 celebration. In case you missed it, there’s also a free Shaman skin you can claim in the shop – Snowman Thrall.
New Winter Veil bundles are purely cosmetic – three of them are for Traditional Hearthstone (I hate the name, but that’s how Blizzard is calling it) and one is for Battlegrounds. Here are the bundles:
- Winter Veil Cheer Bundle – Four hero skins (Demon Hunter, Paladin, Rogue and Warlock) for $24.99
- Winter Veil Chill Bundle – Four hero skins (Druid, Hunter, Mage Priest) for $24.99
- Greatfather Magni Hero Set – Warrior hero skin + card back for $9.99
- Battlegrounds Winter Veil Bundle – Greatfather Boom alternate bartender + 8 hero skins for $19.99
Do keep in mind that only Greatfather Magni is a “full-fledged” skin including completely new emotes and animations. The other 8 skins just have new voice-lines for basic emotes + new portrait, of course. (But damn, that Mage skin does look really nice.)
As for the value, those are basically in line with other bundles we’ve previously got. So if you really like some of those skins, go ahead and grab them. If not – they might still come back in the future for Gold purchases. I also really wish you could buy them individually, but what can you do.
Is there any chance they sell the portraits separately before they go out of the store?
