If you’ve been too busy enjoying Wild Brawliseum you might not have noticed that Ranked Play has been down due to the addition of the new ladder system. Blizzard has added a fix that has resolved the issue, and as an apology of sorts they will be distributing three Kobolds and Catacombs packs to players next week!
Also, the Year of the Raven livestream that was scheduled for today has been canceled due to the ranked play issues.
We have implemented a hotfix for the issue that was affecting Ranked Play in all Hearthstone regions. To properly assess the scope of the issue, we had to temporarily disable Ranked Play while we worked on the hotfix. As part of the restoration process, some accounts may have received additional stars.
We understand this kind of downtime is disappointing for our community, and we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. As a token of our appreciation for your patience, we’d like to offer everyone three Kobolds and Catacombs card packs. These card packs will be distributed next week and can be redeemed via the Gifting function either on the Battle.net Desktop App or by logging into your Battle.net account on your mobile device.
Everything should be working properly now and you can once again resume climbing the ladder in Ranked Play. We’re sorry for the disruption to your play experience and greatly appreciate your patience while we sorted it out!
So where are they?
i was legend last season, when the ladder reset and was not working it was showing rank4 and 5 stars, now i am rank1 and 5 stars. basically i reset one game away from legend. omegalul
yeah same thing happened to me. I played only 3 games this season (I lost the first one) to get to legend rank.
It takes the fun out of it a little bit because it seems like everyone’s rank will be really inflated this month. It will be interesting to see how many players are at legend rank at the end of the season.
I also notice that several times I have been matched up against players of a much lower ranking, for some reason I often get matched up against players at rank 7 while I am at legend rank. It has happened too many times to be a coincidence, it always seems to be either rank 7 or other legend players which is really odd.
So after almost scratching rank 3 I initially was rank 8 5 stars as intended. Then when I was playing the Brawliseum yesterday, I noticed I was magically rank 6 5 stars. Then a little later it went down to rank 7 5 stars, still a rank ahead, but it dropped a whole rank to my sadness. Now I’ll have to put a few wins together for rank 5 instead of just 1.
I was also moved up a rank. I ended the February season at rank 8. Yesterday I was at rank 12 after the reset, which was correct. This morning I’m at rank 11. I know they said some people may have received stars as part of the restoration process. I just figured I’d report it. I’ll take it.
same issue i was rank1 with 0 star last season i supposted to be rank5 with 0 star but i am rank 4 with 1 star and i did not reach legend last season
now this how you implement compensation , finally Blizzard doing a great job at that.
