Blizzard just published a blog post rounding up all of the community-related stuff surrounding the upcoming Perils in Paradise launch. We learn more about Theorycrafting streams, Community Day and Perils in Paradise deck recipes.
Some of those things were also announced in 30.0 Patch Notes, but this post expands on them and gives more details.

Vacation’s more fun when you party with friends! We’re approaching our destination and everyone’s preparing for arrival. Join in the festivities with special community events and, for the first time ever, creator-made deck ideas directly in the deckbuilder. See the 30.0 Patch Notes for even more updates coming soon!
Perils in Paradise Theorycrafting Streams July 17-18
Join your favorite content creators for a preview of paradise as they theorycraft the upcoming expansion. Invited players will be streaming their participation on their own personal streams, so make sure you’re following your favorite Hearthstone creators and tune in when they go live!
- NA/LATAM/EMEA players will play on July 17, 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. (PDT)
- APAC players will play on July 18, 2:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. (PDT)
All participants need to include at least 10 Perils in Paradise cards in their decks (that can be 10 individual cards, 5 duplicates, or anything in between).
No vacation for your favorite casters! They will be returning for their Theorycasting stream on theofficial Hearthstone Twitch channel. Join them as they hop from destination to destination, casting over games across participating players.
- Sottle,Raven, Lorinda, and Edelweiss will return for Theorycasting on July 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (PDT).
Twitch Drops will be enabled category-wide from July 17, 9:00 a.m. to July 18, 9:00 a.m. (PDT), so you can watch any Hearthstone stream you’d like and earn up to 2 Perils in Paradise packs (make sure you link your Twitch and Battle.net accounts so that your viewing time counts towards the drops.). On top of that, participating streams will have Pre-Purchase Mega Bundle codes to give away to their audiences during the event!
Extended Community Day July 19-21
After Theorycrafting, pack your weekender for a a special 48-hour Community Day event! From July 19, 9:00 a.m. (PDT) to July 21, 9:00 a.m. (PDT), you can up to 10 packs just for watching any Hearthstone stream:
- 1st Drop: 2 Festival of Legends Packs
- 2nd Drop: 2 TITANS Packs
- 3rd Drop: 2 Showdown in the Badlands Packs
- 4th Drop: 2 Whizbang’s Workshop Packs
- 5th Drop: 2 Perils in Paradise Packs
