Update: A few new issues got added, including an update about softlocks caused by Choose One cards and TITANS (tl;dr: they’re trying to get the fix out ASAP, for now restart your client as soon as it happens to you). Some cards also got temporarily added to Battlegrounds ban list.
Patch 31.2 was released yesterday, and Blizzard has already started compiling a list of known issues. I’ll keep updating thie post as new problems are added.
The one you might have noticed already is that Twist didn’t properly reset everyone back to Bronze with the new season (it probably has something to do with the season starting later than usual). Since people have already played a bunch of matches, they decided to just not have a reset this time around. The Warcraft Rumble cards (like Warsong Grunt and Gnomelia, S.A.F.E. Pilot) are also playable in Twist by mistake, but they will be banned in an upcoming hotfix.
Choose One cards and TITANS also sometimes cause softlocks for players (the game doesn’t crash, but you can’t do anything). If that happens to you, staying and waiting is pointless, you should just restart the game quickly and hopefully get back before your turn is over. It sucks because the patch was meant to make the game more stable, but it is what it is.

Patch 31.2 is now live with Battlegrounds Season 9: Enter the Technotavern! With all these cyber punks added to the Tavern, we’ve run into a few issues. Here are some of the bugs we’re tracking this patch:
- [Battlegrounds] Getting the Battlegrounds Season Pass will result in the Season Pass+ also showing as “owned” in the Shop. This is just to block players from accidentally double-purchasing the pass. Leaving the Battlegrounds tab and then returning to it will refresh the Shop so that the proper offering, the Season Pass Upgrade, appears and is available for players who got the regular Season Pass but want the Season Pass+.
- [Battlegrounds] The Reroll Perk from the Season Pass+ is shown as on level 2 of the Battlegrounds Track, but, like the +2 Hero Options, it is active as soon as the Season Pass+ is acquired, even if not claimed on the Track.
- [Battlegrounds] The team is investigating reports that players Rerolled into heroes that were offered to another player that game.
- [Twist] Twist rankings didn’t reset properly with the new season. We don’t plan on resetting them after the fact now, but the team is investigating the issue for the next season rollover.
- [Twist] The Warcraft Rumble cards (Warsong Grunt, Footman, Night Elf Huntress, and Gnomelia, S.A.F.E. Pilot) were inadvertently added to the eligible card pool. They will be banned in an upcoming hotfix patch, so place those units now before time runs out.
- [Updated 12/6] [Hearthstone] The team is investigating continued reports of crashes or softlocks, particularly from playing Choose One cards and Titans. The team has isolated the issue: it is caused when one of these cards in in your initial hand to start the game, mulliganed away, and then redrawn and played later in the game. Now that it has identified the issue, the team is working to get a fix out as soon as possible. As a workaround in the interim, restarting your client after the triggering incident should avoid or resolve the issue.
- [Updated 12/5] [Progression] The Rewards Track always opens on page 3. The same issue is making it so that the Battlegrounds Track always opens on page 1. The team is working on getting this back on track.
- [Added 12/5] [Twist] Copying a Twist deck code without having all the cards in your Collection causes a soft lock.
- [Added 12/5] [Twist] The team is investigating Twist leaderboards not matching in-game ranks.

Battlegrounds Pool Changes:
- Tea Master Theotar is temporarily out of the minion pool due to a bug. He should be returned to the minion pool after an upcoming hotfix.
- Implant Subject, Bob-blehead, Untamed Sorcery, Yogg-Tastic Pastry, and Yogg-Tastic Pastries are also temporarily removed from their respective pools due to bugs that the team is investigating.
When you spend more time (and money) to create more predatory bundle (dwarf planet??? Are you serious???) and P2W mechanic (battleground token) than programming your code this is the result
