If you’re still waiting for the patch, I have some sad news for you. Apparently, it’s NOT coming next week – Patch 22.2 will drop on January 25, so the week after. It’s really late for X.2 patch, I honestly would expect a mini-set to drop around that time (late January / early February), but I guess that we’ll have to wait for that even longer.
The good news is that the patch is going to be big and we’ll get to know all the changes a while before the actual release. On top of a “HUGE Battlegrounds update”, the patch will contain balance changes for Standard and Wild, new Mercs, and a huge Duels update.
Starting January 18, we will get a short Battlegrounds and Duels reveal season. Yeah, that’s a first – so far only Constructed cards were revealed, and Battlegrounds & Duels cards have all dropped with patch notes. It’s going to be interesting.
Then, on January 20, patch notes will drop. We should probably get all the reveals by then + we will learn about any potential Constructed changes. On the same day, we’ll get a Battlegrounds invitational event (featuring Kripp, RDU, Slysssa, Dog and more) showcasing the new, big update.
And finally, the patch itself will be released on January 25. It’s a long wait, but at least the next week will be busy with all the news and Battlegrounds card reveals!

What they mean to say is,
“we’re sorry we have to postponed balance patch to Standard (especially Rogues) and Wild as well as fixes to the AV achievements as far as 25th. Because we’re an smol indie company and couldn’t afford to make a fast small patch like X.1.2 regarding these issues.”

Also, I would like to have a say in this, so please just ban the Hunter QL & Mage’s Ignite like they did with Warlock’s QL.

Blizzard should’ve prioritize quick fix over huge patch. If the problem really bad, like bugs and breaking mechanic, it’s supposed to be fixed within days, a week at the most. Especially if the bug is easily fixed by changing 1 or 2 lines of coding.
And don’t worry mate, it’s not really a “whining” as these people said because you truly hit the nails. Wild had enough with deck that can cheat near unlimited damage in one turn. Keep these comments up mate, I like it so far.
