Blizzard has just announced an unexpected update. Update: The patch is live now on both PC and mobile! It looks like it’s a client-only update on mobile so you don’t have to download anything from the store, which means that they could push it out together with a PC patch.
The patch focuses mostly on Battlegrounds balance changes. Over 30 buddies are getting nerfed or buffed, which should heavily impact the Battlegrounds meta. Hamuul Runetotem is also removed from the minion pool, which will make some late-game strategies a bit weaker. Additionally, we’re getting some smaller changes to Duels (nerf to one of Vanndar’s Hero Powers, moving some overperforming Treasures to Ultra Rare pool) and general bug fixes.

- Increased the maximum number of Bladestorm activations from 30 to 50.
- Fixed a bug where Golden Kil’rek would always give two copies of the same Demon when its Deathrattle was triggered.
- Fixed a bug where Spirit of Air’s Deathrattle would sometimes apply to enemy minions.
All these changes and updates…and they couldn’t be bothered to fix the Duels bug that has so many of us locked out……

Sorry to hear that, I thought they already fixed it :/ The workaround didn’t work for you?
No…and it didn’t work for a number of people.
Perhaps this indie game company can only afford 1 or 2 people to fix bugs.
Don’t forget the immovable object bug achievement. This is the last year which can be called “indie” after microsoft acquisition xD.
Believe me, it even goes back further to BoM Rokara Achievements. I mean, they fixed it half-heartedly, because they want you to finish the book again, and I don’t think I wanna waste anymore time for that.
And then we have Microsoft thing, which I assume probably only affect how they do sales and different ways to promote/manage things. The game itself (and problems) is still lies with the team itself. Aaaand I already tired of punching my way to the Blizzard forum as far as getting suspended for it. That’s Blizzard for you.
