Patch 20.4.2 just went live on PC. Keep in mind that, like always, it might take some more time for it to release on mobile devices.
The biggest change coming in the patch is a ban to Stealer of Souls in Wild format. We’re also getting two smaller Battlegrounds balance changes – nerf to Captain Flat Tusk and buff to Kangor’s Apprentice – and a few bug fixes.
For full patch notes, refer to this post.
Update: There seem to be some issues with patch on mobile. It looks like Stealer of Souls ban didn’t work and you can still play it (at least that’s what I see some players reporting). But Blizzard is working on it.
Update #2: If you update the game now, it will work just fine. If you still see the “old” patch (e.g. no Stealer ban) despite an update, don’t worry, it will get fixed too soon.
???? We’ll be deploying a hotfix later today that will fix the issue for mobile players that did not receive the 20.4.2 changes after updating.
Players who have yet to update on mobile can now update to 20.4.2 without issue.

So if you’re never planning to use stealer of souls in standard, this one is pretty safe to dust since it’s banned for wild, right?
Got the ingame message that Stealer is Banned in Wild.
Faced a Warlock who played Stealer on Turn 4 the 2nd game I queued into …
Patch didn’t work correctly on its early mobile release. People who downloaded it within the first hour or two on Android or iOS could still play Stealer just fine.
Blizzard was working on it last night. Not sure if it’s already fixed, though.
Yes, it is fixed now.
