Today’s patch notes were massive and it was hard to get through them, so some of you might have missed it. I think that it deserves a separate post, since I’ve been asking about it ever since the “event” was first introduced.
- A Daily Quest has been added for Nozdormu Day, which will appear on the 15th of every month if you have an available Daily Quest slot.
Yep, that’s right – on 15th day of each month, keep one extra Quest slot free, as players will get a Nozdormu Day Quest!
After doing some datamining, it looks like the Quest will ask players to play three games with Nozdormu the Eternal in their deck. The reward is 1500 XP – which is quite a nice chunk of experience and will probably encourage players to try completing it. Of course, those three games don’t necessarily HAVE to be “blitz” matchups, but thanks to the Quest the chances to get one will be much, much higher.
The next Nozdormu Days happens in just 2 weeks – on July 15, 2021. Stay tuned!
Can this be completed in casual matchups?
Datamining didn’t say anything about ranked, so I would guess so. But we’ll see in ~2 weeks, can’t be sure yet.
So, one can assume that every 15th of the month, everyone will get 2 daily quests instead of 1?
Does Legendary daily quest slot count?
But I still want to point out that, IT’S FREAKING 3 MONTHS TOO LATE!
Aaaah. Feels great.
No idea yet since it’s just datamining. I hope they use Legendary Quest slot, but from the patch notes it sounded like everyone will get 2 Daily Quests (normal + Nozdormu).
3 months is still very quickly by Hearthstone standards, haha 😀
I honestly love this. Even with the bit of organization around Nozdormu Day, it always felt bad to put it in my deck when there was a good chance the matchup wouldn’t even happen. This addition is great, and I hope will get people to participate in the blitz rounds.
