Over the course of a series of round-robin matches in Standard, Wild, and other formats, teams will accrue relics that will afford them benefits in the final, yet-to-be-revealed portion of the competition.

Hmm – well Un’Goro has some jungle flora on the Expansion I “flyer” – Expansion II (KFT) has blue glowy (icy) magical symbols … while the next expansion has, quite literally, a cut purse.

… so, something Elwynn Forest (Cutpurse territory in WoW) related with more steal-stuff type mechanics, particularly for Rogue – maybe some more Defias Brotherhood related cards (though they’re kaput in WoW now – apparently, not played for a long time).

Possibly more Goldshire, Northshire or Stormwind cards as they’re all around the Elwynn Forest, especially for Paladin and Priest. Perhaps something Tower of Azora (https://wow.gamepedia.com/Tower_of_Azora) related for Mage.

… Druid will no doubt get something like Tree-win, “5 mana, destroy all minions and replace them with 5/5 Treants under your control”

Priest is getting a new card too, called “Delayed PTW” (10 mana)
Battlecry: Your account will be charged $5 and your opponent will concede.

          Brilliant!

I have already starting to play some GWENT now. Another card game. Just in case I will quit HS soon. This super expansive PTW is really frustrating.

I thought they were at BlizzCon, but I forgot they moved them to January: The Hearthstone World Championship will take place in January 2018. In this final showdown, the top 4 winners from each of the Winter, Spring, and Summer Championships as well as the top overall Hearthstone Competitive Point earners from each region will compete for a chance at Hearthstone glory and a piece of the $1 million prize pool.

I may be slow but I don’t see anything that could give us a clue as to what the next may hold. Any thoughts? Im hoping that we get a “flying” mechanic for certain cards. Sounds a little/ lot like MTG but its something that could add a little more complexity to underrated pre-existing minions and there somewhat stale current meta. Let the little guys have a chance!
