The HCT Summer Championship took place over the weekend at the new Blizzard Arena in Los Angeles. Sixteen players went head-to-head in a three day affair with four players (Purple, JasonZhou, Surrender, and Orange) punching their ticket to Amesterdam and the Hearthstone World Championship.

Now if you participated in the “Choose Your Champion” promotion then you are entitled to some Knights of the Frozen Throne packs. The amount of packs, however, is based on how well your Champion did! The max amount of packs you can get is 4 while the lowest amount is 1. Packs will be sent out soon, but there’s no official date/time yet. Check out the list below to see how well you fared.

How come I never got my packs? I chose Purple as my champion.

I picked Orange on Savjz’s recommendation. He did not disappoint! Well played, Orange.
Literally can’t remember remenber who I picked but I can’t complain, minimum one free pack so why not.
It was between Orange or Surrender for me. In the end, I chose Surrender as my champion \o/.
Um… I think Orange is from Sweden.
I somewhat randomly picked Orange, 4 packs, got lucky.

last several tournaments i went with the consensus favorite and got 1 pack.
this year i deviated and picked Orange. Turns out it was prrreeettty good.
Picking a color was a good strategy this tournament.
