Maiev Shadowsong Hero Skin Available In Shop For 1000 Gold or $6.99 / €6.99

It seems that bringing old cosmetics is now a pattern. It began with card backs a while ago, and more recently Blizzard started bringing back Hero skins. Which is pretty good for people who have missed them in the past.

2 weeks ago, Blizzard brought back “Thunder King” Hero (which was notably a bit more expensive, most likely because it also came with a card back). And now it’s Maiev Shadowsong. The Hero was originally available for free to players who won 10 Ranked games during Year of the Mammoth (2017).

Now she’s back, but this time you have to pay for her. You can get Maiev Hero skin for 1000 Gold or $6.99 / €6.99 through Battle.net shop or in game. The hero is available through March 22.

Interestingly enough, bringing her back is probably what caused last week’s bugs concerning Rogue packs (those were already fixed).

Feels bad for anyone who didn’t get this one for free in the past.
I should be grateful getting this for free.

For your info, they gave Tyrande for free, but not this one. Don’t tell me because of Rogue Hero popularity.
Oh well. Can’t complain too much.

They gave Tyrande again for free because the initial promotion was region-restricted. People from many countries couldn’t officially registered for Amazon Prime. Only like 7 or 8 countries were eligible, so devs promised that others will get access to it eventually.

I think it became available in some Asian countries like a few months after the initial promo, but the rest of the world had to wait over 3 years :p
