Lunar New Year Event – Legendary Quests (9 Packs), Three Kingdoms Hero Skins, Special Tavern Brawl – Coming February 9

2021’s Lunar New Year celebration has been officially announced. Here’s what we can expect this year:

  • Legendary Quests – A series of 3 Legendary Quests, giving players two Darkmoon Faire and one Scholomance Academy packs each (so 9 packs in total). In fact, the Quests have already been released before time and some players already managed to snatch the rewards. If you already finished those Quests, you won’t get them again.
  • Three Kingdoms Hero Skins – Hero skins inspired by “Romance of Three Kingdoms” will be available between February 9 and 19. We don’t know the pricing. The skins were already added in Patch 19.4, you can get a closer look at them here.
  • Tavern Brawl – “Lunar Blessing” Tavern Brawl is making a comeback.

Update: According to the press release, you will be able to purchase Hero skins in a few different ways. There will be bundle with all four for $24.99, bundle with Valeera + Garrosh for $14.99, and you will be able to get each individual Hero for $9.99. No info about packs in the bundles yet – I suspect we might either get a few or none at all.

The Three Kingdoms skins are inspired by Romance of Three Kingdoms, an epic Chinese tale of war, heroes, and betrayal where three successor kingdoms rose to power after the collapse of the Han Empire and battled to reunify the country. The Three Kingdoms skins will be available in-game and on the Blizzard web shop from February 9 until February 19!

Also, I read that people who already did the quests when they accidentially put them live earlier, won’t be able to do them a second time.

I was only able to do the first 2 quests I’m hoping a partial completion doesn’t mess it up

Remember folks, unlike the past where you need to play X turns or lower health to below 15, here, you can just play the game and concede immediately. It’s says “play” not “win”. So, I’d say about 2-3 minutes of conceding should rewards you everything.

I hope they fix this back. (I surely don’t know whether this is good or bad)
