RegisKillbin just announced some major Duels game mode announcements. We’re getting four new Heroes, and they are characters we know very well – League of Explorers! They will be based on their Tombs of Terror, which means that they will be Dual Class. Their Hero Powers and Signature Treasures are also based on their solo adventure appearance, but with some balance changes for the sake of PvP format.
What’s interesting is that if you already unlocked their Hero Powers / Treasures back in the Tomb of Terror days, you will still have them unlocked going into Duels! If you haven’t unlocked them back in the day, don’t worry, they won’t have any collection requirement – you will be able to get them by simply playing the new Heroes in Duels.
The patch is also coming with a bunch of new Passives and balance changes. Regis only gave only a few examples of new Passives, we’ll see more once full patch notes drop:

When? Are they going to update duels soon? Duels and Arena have been massively neglected recently
Those should be live with Patch 23.0 (new expansion pre-patch), I think it’s going to drop on April 5, but I’m not 100% sure yet.

Sadly there’s a gap in card reveals between March 30 and April 5. Final reveal stream happens on April 5 and I don’t think they ever put a pre-patch live before all of the cards got revealed (but I might be wrong about that one). That’s why I’m guessing April 5, but we’ll see 🙂
