We’re getting fairly deep into this new Un’Goro meta game now, and I still feel like we aren’t yet settling down yet. The rotation along with the new expansion have truly shaked things up completely, so why not take a look at what decks stood out during the week!
Keep in mind that this isn’t meant to be an exhaustive list of every powerful deck on the ladder. It’s just the decks I felt stood out this week.
Standout Un’Goro Decks of the Week
Midrange Paladin literally burst onto the scene, and now multiple people have been reaching high legend with the deck. Some players are playing a Midrange/Control version of the list, while others have leaned towards the Murloc version like the list below.

This along with Midrange Paladin were the breakout decks of the week. Quest Mage is looking less and less viable, but this new version of Freeze Mage has gotten a lot more popular.
- 2Arcanologist2
- 2Frostbolt2
- 2Medivh’s Valet2
- 2Primordial Glyph2
- 3Arcane Intellect2
- 3Frost Nova2
- 3Ice Barrier2
- 3Ice Block2
- 4Fireball2
- 6Blizzard2
- 7Archmage Antonidas1
- 10Pyroblast1
A deck that’s gaining popularity, it’s a fast deck that can do some impressive things in the early turns if given the right hand.

The other version of Mage that is floating around the ladder is Tempo Mage. It’s a bit surprising to see the deck still doing well after it lost Flamewaker to the rotation, but Apxvoid has been maintaining a top 10 legend spot with this list.
A deck that has gotten a lot more refined since Dog’s original version of the deck. The list now goes all-in for the combo and has cut alternative win conditions like Edwin VanCleef.

More of an aggro build of Jade Shaman, but some Shaman players have been cutting a lot of the Elemental package in favor of sticking with just Jade.

One of the early powerhouse decks from the Un’Goro expansion is still going strong.

Jade Druid is defintely not dead yet, Senfglas was floating around top-10 legend with this version.

- 3Feral Rage2
- 3Jade Blossom2
- 3Swipe2
- 4Fandral Staghelm1
- 5Jade Behemoth2
- 5Nourish2
- 7Ancient of War2
It’s a pretty big surprise that a deck like Dragon Priest has potentially survived the rotation when it lost so many core cards. It turns out that Drakonid Operative is just so powerful on its own that even just playing a small amount of Dragons makes it worth it.

Sub for shadow visions?
You could run 2x Book Wyrm or 1x Book Wyrm and 1x Holy Nova. Cabal Shadow Priest is another option.
