Do you like the idea behind Nozdormu the Eternal card? Want to play some Blitz games of Hearthstone, but can’t find anyone else running it? The initiative that Blizzard just pushed might help with that, at least a bit!
Hearthstone team has dubbed 15th day of each month “Nozdormu Day”, where everyone who wants Blitz games puts Nozdormu into their decks. Of course, it’s clear that not everyone will do it, not even close, but if everyone tries, then there’s a higher chance to encounter another Nozdormu player and have that sweet 15 seconds per turn matchup!
I, for one, will definitely try it out (and probably lose some games in the process, but hey).

I have played at least 10 matches and no one had Nozdormu in their decks!!! Man! I hate that.
I had started to concede at the start of every matches without Nozdormu interaction. Poor community!
Feels sad.
there is no initiative to put this card in the Deck (if I wanna play fast and my opponent does too we end turn quickly ourselves)
also the majority doesnt read hearthstone news sites or social media related stuff and dont even know about it

it is an online/multiplayer game and there must be some events with it.
you can not talk to me I did not read the social media stuff because you must be online to play the game. it feels like playing “world of warcraft” or “fortnite” and not knowing what is going on with the game. simply you can not do that.
Can we have some decks, please?
Tavern Brawl the week of the 15th – with Noz in both decks – would whet people’s appetites for blitz games. Brawls always stimulate interest in off-meta shenanigans.
Guys i think Blizzard didn’t made quest or reminder on it because its just for fun. Like it would be so cool if people did it just for fun because they want and not for quest.
How about this? On the 15th day of the month, Nozdormu only needs to be in one of the decks to have a blitz match. Heh heh heh. “But I didn’t **choose** to play blitz!” you say? As if you chose to have your deck milled by Tickatus, or to be Lunacyed by Mage or RNGed by Priest or farmed by Paladin, and on and on.
If they had a reminder in game on the 15th. I would give it a try. But otherwise, I’m most likely not going to even think about it.

Why not have a special quest on the 15
That give you 1500xp & 150 gold
The name can be a pun like
“Tik tok 15 second on the clock”
Play 15 game with nozdormu into your deck
Yes only you have to put noz into your deck,
So the quest will be not that hard to complete and there will be for sure player that will try to complete the quest.
This quest will feel like the standard
“Play 10 for (insert keyword here)”
I gave the quest a good reward because it specifically ask you to have noz & because you will trigger insane game vs other people that want to complete the quest too
It might be only 150xp and 15 gold. According to how ‘generous’ Hearthstone has become lately.

I wish that instead of it being card, it would be an automatic buff at the start of the game on that day. And some more days in the month would get other buffs. It would be refreshing.
I don’t see why people would put in the Nozdormu in their deck at this time. Most match ups I’m having are against decks that need their whole turn to play all their cards. Rogue, Paladin, Mage,… All that waiting is so boring….
Make it 4 mana. Will be an auto include for all aggro decks.

Hehe sounds funny at least, hope people will try it, otherwise I think they would be able to have a little mini event like have him in your deck for five games get a achievement point or maybe even a bit of xp to motivate people.

Me too, but also some motivation to play him would be nice maybe double xp if you have him in your deck (on that day only) non-disenchantable golden copy something like that
Yeah, I agree i made a “classic” buff mech paladin plus him, plus that bad spell that cost 4 +1/+1 (for the pala trophy) and i have win both my match on diamond 4 in wild :D, too bad no nozdormu for the oppo.
I talked to the devs and suggested that they should add a monthly quest that can only be completed on 15th, something like “Play 3 matches with Nozdormu the Eternal in your deck” for a small reward (e.g. some extra XP) to promote it and to let a wider audience know that such thing exists. Of course I doubt that it’s going to happen immediately, but maybe in the future. That would increase the chance of running into another Nozdormu considerably and make it a fun little monthly event.
I still don’t get why would I played Blitzstone. Some maybe, but surely not me.
If this was for getting gold every 3 wins, maybe I would, but in terms of XP, you would gain less XP.
If this was for climbing ladder faster, I wouldn’t put a 7 mana 8/8 that does nothing into my deck.
If this for fun, sorry, I’ll pass.
Fun to me is when you play meme deck.
No offense but, I just think that this is their mind-trick of saying
“Hey, we officially made Nozdormu day so you would play more with that useless card we created”.
You’d gain roughly the same XP, I guess!? Isn’t it about total game time? So, if it takes me 15 minutes for one game or for 4 games instead, I’d get the same amount of XP, right?
But if XP gain grows exponentionally if games go longer then yeah, no motivation at all.

But then it’s the same as not playing Nozdormu. Well, my deck is better without Nozdormu anyway.
I find Blitz matches really fun. They change the meta and your strategy considerably – they promote quick thinking and analyzing how the situation might change a few turns ahead. You also need to use every second to think about your moves, including your opponent’s turn.
I’ve been playing chess on a regional level when I was younger and Blitz was always my favorite format, even though it was less “competitive”. I was asking for a Blitz format in Hearthstone for years.
It’s not for climbing the ladder faster or for getting more XP, that was never the point of the card. It’s about having fun. Nozdormu is intentionally a bad card so people aren’t forced to play it and do it willingly trying to look for someone else using it (or more likely set up a friendly game, because it’s hard to find someone with Nozdormu on the ladder). If you don’t like Blitz matches then you won’t find using Nozdormu fun and it’s simply not something for you, and that’s totally understandable.
Actually this would be nice if they deliberately made Nozdormu with the broken stats to get at least some incentive to play him competitively. I get that this is a meme card, but I would love to see what would happen had one of the meme cards actually found play
