15th day of each month was named “Nozdormu Day” – Blizzard has hoped that players will try the card out (Nozdormu the Eternal) and put it into their deck for some Blitz matchups. So far, it hasn’t worked very well. Even if you try to do it, most of the players won’t, either because they don’t care or even don’t know that such an event exists.
However, things might change soon. Celestalon has tweeted yesterday that they’ve “heard the feedback” that the event needs to be in-client to be successful. And that’s true – the majority of Hearthstone players are casual and don’t even read news like that unless they pop up in game. Now, the question is whether Celestalon is talking about a monthly Quest (which is something I and many others have suggested right after the event was first announced two months ago) or maybe just an in-game notification that explains the situation to players. Either would be helpful, but I would hope for a Quest with some small rewards – enough to incentivize players to do it, but not too much so no one feels “forced” to play the card if they don’t like to.
Anyway, I hope that we’ll see what Celestalon is talking about next month!
Don’t worry, we’ve definitely heard the feedback that Nozdormu day needs to be in-client to be truly successful. Stay tuned. 🙂

They should fit it into a specific game mode, like wild causal.
I wish to play nozdormu every game every dat, lets make instant blitz game mode…
I played a bunch of Blitz matchups with my friends and they were pretty fun (although you really have to play different decks, because some are simply too slow for it, haha). I recommend trying it out with friends – if you both agree to run it then you can guarantee the Blitz game after all.
The standard daily quest on the 15th could be “Play a game with Nozdormo” and it could be a 1500 xp quest. Sure those with three quest will miss it and you could cycle off it but I would play a game if that was the case. And it could be completed in casual.
I think they should just add it as a “Legendary” Quest (like those Quests for packs during events). After all we have a special, 4th slot for those right now so no one would miss it (other than people who already have an unfinished Legendary Quest, I mean :p).
Yup – makes more sense – forgot that even existed.
