HSTD Descent of Dragons Pre-Purchase Giveaway! (60 Packs + Golden Legendary + Card Back + Battlegrounds Early Access)

This giveaway is much shorter than usually, because we want winners to take advantage of the Battlegrounds early access!

Galakrond, the father of all dragonkind, has awoken… and he HUNGERS! As the brave heroes of the League of Explorers clash with the villainous League of E.V.I.L. in the skies above, which side will you choose in this epic conclusion to the year-long story?

To celebrate the announcement of Descent of Dragons expansion, we’ll be picking ten winners to be gifted a Standard Pre-Purchase Bundle (courtesy of Blizzard)! Each bundle contains a lot of goodies, including access to the brand new game mode – Battlegrounds!

The pre-purchase bundle includes:

  • 60 Descent of Dragons card packs.
  • Shattering Card Back.
  • One random Descent of Dragons Golden Legendary.
  • Early access to the Battlegrounds game mode.

If you already bought this pre-purchase, you won’t be able to redeem the code second time. You can still enter our giveaway and donate it to one of your friends, family members, or maybe even an odd, Hearthstone-addicted pet! And if 60 cards aren’t enough, or you want to get access to an amazing Warrior cosmetic Hero (Deathwing), you should also check out the Mega Pre-Purchase Bundle! More information about pre-purchase in the expansion guide linked below.

Learn more about the expansion and see all of the new cards with our full Descent of Dragons guide!

At 25 entries, 1/4000 chance. Not too bad.

10 bundles at 0.21% per bundles
(if you’re at 75 entries, counting from 35000total entries)
pretty good chances, and fast too.
and did I mention free? yep it is.

but sadly, lady luck never smiles upon me.
    🙁

I wanna win so badly that I considering creating 10-20 accounts for this.
but even then, those accounts only had like 0.1% chances too.
so not really worth the time I guess. Just had to try again and again.

Is it worth to participate? I mean, the 10 winners will have something like 46000 entries, like in the last giveaway.

Yeah, the chances in those giveaways are always low, because thousands of people fight over a few codes. But it doesn’t really cost you anything to participate. It’s really up to you.

How do those people get so many entries?

I’m not sure what he means, but it’s impossible to get that many entries.

When winners are shown, next to their name there is an exact winning entry’s number (like entry #44135 – it means that this one entry was rolled at random and won), not the total amount of entries they had. Maybe he got those confused.

Oh! Is that the number??? Oh S**t!
Sorry for the confusion and thank you

It was just impossible to get so many entries. If someone got them, we would count it as cheating and remove him from the giveaway 🙂 No problem and good luck!

I think it’s because last time there was a repeatable thing you could do every 12 hours. You gained enteries for it each time you did it. It was checking the top decks site. I remember checking it avidly every twelve hours myself for the enteries, though I found out about the giveaway about three days prior, so I didn’t get many extra enteries. The people who did it from the first day though did have a massive accumulation of enteries from this though.

No, you shouldn’t–that way, I have a 0.02% higher chance of winning!

In all seriousness: even if the odds are ridiculously low, I think its cool that HSTD does this. Blizzard does gift them the codes, but its still extra work on their end to setup a fair contest which they didn’t have to do. If you do like this site, I’d recommend participating.
