We’re back with another card creation contest, and this time we’re using the new Overkill keyword that was introduced in Rastakhan’s Rumble!
With the new expansion coming out in the next couple of weeks and a new keyword, I thought it would be a good time for a new card creation event! This time, the idea is to make a card with the keyword Overkill! Cards with Overkill trigger additional effects when they kill a minion by doing damage that exceeds the minion’s current health.

The winner of the contest gets a sweet Year of the Raven Discord Legend role that they can parade around in the various channels in our Discord.

Pounce is a very good card murgly too.
Looking at those 2 cards you see why overkill might be a flawed design from the beginning – obviously those cards are very good (if not be broken, especially the secret) and the cards already revealed are unplayable.
The flaw is that the effect normally triggers only at certain times, not everytime.
That said, secrets (and, to a certain extend, spells) are perfect card types for overkill.
