Update: The AMA post is now live. You can ask your questions here.
Hearthstone devs will be holding an “AMA” (a Q&A section for those unfamiliar with reddit terms) on April 14. They will be answering your questions between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM on reddit. Everyone will have an opportunity to post their question, but of course there’s no telling if it will get answered or not.
We will gather all of the questions & answers after it’s done, as well as look for the most important info that devs have shared.
Members of the dev team have set aside some time, from 10:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. PT on April 14, to answer questions related to Hearthstone and our latest expansion, Ashes of Outland! We’ll get through as many as we can before taking a lunch break, with some team members returning to answer questions after lunch as well.
Represented will be game team leadership along with folks from art, production, and design.
Look out for the AMA thread early next week. Until then, we hope you’re enjoying Ashes of Outland!
it would be good if you shared a link…
I linked to /r/hearthstone – the subreddit the AMA will be held on.
At the time I was posting this, there was no AMA thread created yet.
Is it just Q&A Session? or we could push them for another nerf idea.
I just thought that Priestess of Fury should not be able to attack face just like Reno.
And nerf DH Hero Power to cost 2 mana – Gain 2 Attack (In fact, all Hero Power should cost 2 for consistency. Including Untapped Potential)
Odd DH could be 2 mana – Gain 3 Attack, & Even DH could work.
That’s just a few ideas.
Yes, it’s a Q&A session, but you can pitch some nerf ideas or other interesting stuff. Although I don’t think that they will nerf stuff based on reddit comments :p
I believe the format is: anyone with a reddit account can login and reply to the thread, then the hosts pick whichever ones they want to reply to for the first 2 hours. Most questions won’t get an answer due to volume combined with the fact the hosts will only pick questions they feel comfortable answering. I would expect replies phrased like the above to be generally ignored, whereas something like “are you still worried about the power level of Demon Hunter even after the nerfs?” might get an answer.
