I don’t get my full dust value 4 Ixlid? ? ;(
How many times did you get profit from fact that Xlid – elemental?
I think that they’re only giving Dust refunds for relevant nerfs. Ixlid being an Elemental was not relevant in any deck he was played in.
I disagree with that approach (from the fairness perspective, because from the business perspective it’s probably a good decision), but it’s not for me to decide.
With this kind of argumentation I would say, Ixlid in general was not relavant in any deck, so every nerf is irrelevant.
But thats the Point, if I crafted him for my elemental deck, for me its a big nerf, for others maybee not. Who can decide that?
Yes, I know Blizzard can do that 😀
Your elemental Druid deck? Sure bud
I mean, you could run Spiteful Druid with an Elemental shell. It was not the best version of Spiteful Druid, but you could run Ixlid for the synegies there, and now you don’t have them.
Okay, let me explain my point a bit more detailed.
First of all the question, is it a nerf if you delete the tribe of a minioncard?
If you take Patches as an example, if Blizzard would have deleted the “pirat” tribe of this card a year ago, everybody would agree that this were a nerf of the card and it would justify a full dust turnback.
That leads us to the second point. In case of my Patches example, the nerf would affect many players because patches was so broken that nearly every deck runs patches. So the card nerf would have been a “meta changing nerf” as well.
So, back to the Ixlid.
Is the erasing of the tribe a nerf of the card? – Isolated considerd, YES!
Does it effect the meta? – Absolutly not.
What is the conclusion? Did we get punished just because we don’t play metadecks? Is a nerf of a card, just a “nerf” if the meta is effected?
In my point of view Blizzard have to has to look at changes, isolated to a card and not to the meta.
Because, beleve it or not, there are peaple outside who dont like to play patches or metadecks. And all these get punished by Blizzard!
PS: The aktual Nerf of Patches at the end of the mammoth season was like a reward from blizzard for all these filthy pirate meta players. “Hey you play patches for two years, omg he goes into wild, here you get your dust back. Have a nice day.”
