Hearthstone Patch 31.2.2 Teaser – Standard, Wild & Battlegrounds Balance Update

Blizzard just posted a teaser of the upcoming balance update for both Constructed and Battlegrounds! It’s the second patch in The Great Dark Beyond, and possibly the last one before the mini-set (we don’t know that for sure, but given the upcoming holidays break there might simply not be enough time).

In Constructed, the patch doesn’t have a lot of changes, but some of them will be very impactful. In particular, Wild nerfs to Questline Warlock and Standard nerf to Zilliax (Pylon Module) should shake up the meta quite a bit. However, the main focus of the update seems to be Battlegrounds, with roughly 50 changes in total.

Until the full patch notes are released, we only know what cards are affected and not how! The patch will drop tomorrow (December 17), most likely around 10 AM PT. Patch notes are usually released an hour before the update itself. It’s not official timing, but it’s most likely correct based on the previous balance updates.
