Blizzard just posted a list of known issues for Patch 25.4. Just like every major release, it comes with a bunch of bugs that hopefully will get fixed soon.
The most important “issue” is Test Subject ban in the Wild. Shortly before he mini-set’s release, players have discovered a new combo that could potentially let you OTK your opponent on T2 on Coin (or more likely T3 since the first two turns have a shorter turn timer). If you’d combo Test Subject with Radiant Elemental, Embalming Ritual and Mind Sear, you could keep killing and reviving your Test Subject while dealing 3 damage to the opponent each time. And since none of those cards are Legendary and there’s no easy way to disrupt it, the combo would most likely be completely broken. Test Subject will be unbanned when some adjustments are made.
Another important thing is that many players couldn’t access the shop for a while now. Luckily, Blizzard has finally identified the issue and they’re working on it. For now, they’re offering a workaround for PC users – sadly there’s nothing for mobile there (other than temporarily installing the game on PC to make purchases…).

Patch 25.4 launches today, bringing the Return to Naxxramas Mini-Set, the Mercenaries Mythic Boss Rush, and more! Follow this post for details on known issues being tracked with this patch.
The issues we’re tracking this patch include:
- Test Subject is temporarily banned due to an unintended interaction in Wild. The card will be un-banned when an adjustment is made.
- Diamond Zephrys can be found in-game, but the card is not ready yet and is not available.
- From De Other Side’s art is not showing correctly.
- In Mercenaries, Old God corruption has reached their Diamond animations, which now aren’t displaying properly.
- [Added 2/14] In Mercenaries, the team is aware that a non-Mercenary card back is appearing in Mercenaries Packs. This is not intended and is being investigated. We are temporarily disabling Mercenaries Pack openings while we address this issue.
- [Added 2/14] We are tracking reports of a bug with the Blazing Transmutation card pool.
Additionally, some players are unable to access the Shop. We have identified the issue and working on a solution. Until then, your reports have identified a workaround for PC:

- Download and install X86 from that site or through this permalink: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe 8
- Installing the above seems to resolve the issue for PC users.

And just like that we can’t use test subject to defeat heroic bosses (for those either unskilled enough like or just prefer to cheese the win after surviving unfair turns)…rip.
About my comment from yesterday and a reply to the old me; Yes, you are in fact still locked out of Shop because this patch didn’t fix it, but atleast they addressed it. Except they failed to mention installing x86 does nothing if your PC is still windows 7 since the players who the fix works for run Win10 or 11.
