Hearthstone World Championship 2023 happened just a few weeks ago, but pro players have already been wondering about the esports plans for 2024. Last year we’ve seen a massive downsize of the program – we had less tournaments, prizes were cut considerably, and so on. Some were even worried that the whole thing will be axed this year.
Apparently, that’s not the case. While we don’t know much yet, one thing is sure – there will be some kind of Hearthstone esports program in 2024.
Blizzard just announced that Competitive Points will start counting in the February season. So players who aim for a high Legend finish don’t need to worry about the current month, as it won’t matter for qualifying.
Full details will be announced soon, after the mini-set goes live. Any bold predictions? Do you think that 2024 will be better than 2023, worse, or maybe about the same?
Happy 2024! We hope you’re digging the Delve into Deepholm reveals. To everyone prospecting, we wanted to give you the scoop: Competitive Points start this year with the February Leaderboards. Full details are coming soon, after the Mini-Set goes live.
