Blizzard has just announced a rather big hotfix coming out later today (we don’t have the exact time yet, but hotfixes tend to roll out to different people at different times anyway, I expect everyone to get it within the next few hours).
Patch 25.4.1 is dropping with some Battlegrounds Armor adjustments, Arena card appearance rate changes + fix to missing mini-set cards, as well as a lot of bug fixes. The most important one from the power-level perspective is fixing Blazing Transmutation – before the patch, it could evolve into Colossal minions (which shouldn’t be possible). Most notably, it let Evolve Shaman evolve Goldshire Gnoll into Neptulon the Tidehunter, giving the deck an extra high-roll potential. It probably won’t impact the deck’s win rate THAT much, but it’s still relevant.
It’s a server-side hotfix, so you don’t need to download anything.

Did they manage to finally fix Anachronos and taunt minions interaction though?
Hella annoying to have them lose their taunt border after returning to the field.
I don’t understand, why you could’t evolve in colossal minion? It’s generic and it cost 10, it’s a hidden rule of the evolve mechanic? I never noticed.
Yeah, it’s a rule when Colossal minions were added. I guessing it’s because they always summon extra minions.
I’m*
Colossal minions were always excluded from the pool of random summons, including evolve effects. Not sure why Blizzard decided to do it, maybe because randomly summoning them would be too strong, but that was how they always worked – until Blazing Transmutation that is.
Should be great if Colossal summon they appendix only if played by hand (as for a battlecry), that would solve a lot of problems (expecially in wild).
