HCT Winter Championship concluded this weekend, and it was the last chance for players to qualify for World Championship. Roger, Bunnyhoppor, Bloodyface and SNJing are the last four finalists. We now have a full list of 16 players who will compete for their share of a massive $1,000,000 prize pool, as well as the title of this year’s Hearthstone Champion.
It’s also the last official event that will be played in Conquest format. The recently announced Specialist format will take over after World Championship.

With Luo “Roger” Shengyuan’s win over Raphael “Bunnyhoppor” Peltzer in the finals of the Hearthstone Championship Tour (HCT) Winter Championship, we now know the 16 players who will compete at the HCT 2019 World Championship! The top four finishers from each Year of the Raven Seasonal Championship (Summer, Fall, and Winter), will be joined by the four Regional Point Leaders (from Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and China) in April in Taipei, where they will battle for a $1,000,000 prize pool.

The initial group stage will take place over the first two days, with elimination and decider matches on Saturday, and the quarterfinals, semifinals, and grand finals on Sunday. The format will be best-of-five Conquest with each player banning a single deck.
