The Mean Streets of Gadgetzan has introduced a new type of card: Tri-Class. What this means is that certain Neutral cards can only be used by three specific classes that correspond to their Gang. There are three gangs: Grimy Goons, Kabal, and Jade Lotus.
Each gang is represented by a specific icon.
Each one of these gangs represents three classes:
- Grimy Goons: Hunter, Paladin, Warrior
- Jade Lotus: Druid, Rogue, Shaman
- Kabal: Mage, Priest, Warlock

Tri-Class Card FAQ
Do you need to own a card for each class it’s available to?
You only need to own the card once and it will be available for all three classes. The card is technically Neutral, but it’s only usable to the gang and classes it’s affiliated with.
How many Tri-Class cards will there be?
There will be nine tri-class cards in total. One Common, Rare, and Legendary for each Gang. The Legendary for each gang will be its boss: Grimy Goons: Don Han'Cho, Jade Lotus: Aya Blackpaw, Kabal: Kazakus.
How would a Tri-Class card work with Ethereal Peddler?
It depends which Tri-Class card it is. If you have gotten a Jade Lotus card from your opponent which includes the Rogue class then it would not be reduced, but if you got a Grimy Goons or Kabal card it will be reduced. [Source]
How does the discover effect work with cards like Lotus Agents?
You get one card option from each class. So, instead of the possibility of Neutral cards with your current class cards you would get specifically one Druid, Rogue, and Shaman card option.
If you use a card like Grand Crusader would you be able to receive a Tri-Class card?
Yes, all Tri-Class cards count as the classes they represent. [Source]
so is this one card for 3 classes or you need to collect the warrior, paladin and hunter variant?
One card for three classes.
Small typo in this post. The category for “kisses lotus cards”, you misspelled “Jade Lotus” as “Jade Louts”
Fixed, thanks.
I’m really not sure why I said “kisses lotus cards”. I meant to say “Jade”, but somehow autocorrect thought “kisses”?
Yeah, I was confused by this as well.
